Judith Nentwig works primarily in oil painting both en plein air and in her studio.  Judith focuses on capturing the light in both landscape and still life paintings.  Paying close attention to value chroma and temperature she works to create images that express the beauty and nature of what she sees at a given point in time. Capturing a sense of time place and atmosphere is a primary goal.\ \ In 1983 Judith earned a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Communications Design from Kutztown University.  She worked as an art director in both the Philadelphia and Allentown areas for over ten years.  After taking time to raise a family Judith has returned to the art world as a painter.  She immerses herself in workshops plein air events and studio painting.  Living in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania area she is able to take advantage of the many art exhibition opportunities including those offered by the Arts and Cultural Council of Bucks County the Philadelphia Sketch Club and the Art Show at Phillips’ Mill among others. \ \ Judith is the coordinator of the Peace Valley Plein Air Painters a group of artists who meet weekly to paint the beautiful Bucks County Pennsylvania landscape. Judith is also an Associate Member of Oil Painters of America.\
