ARTIST STATEMENT:\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\ As a plein air painter I am most inspired by the felt moods that the natural and cultural landscapes evoke. My application of paint and compositions are a response to my perception of a place and what I find interesting. My painting process is not formulaic. I prefer to work intuitively and improvisational with no predetermined result in mind. The struggle of searching for that elusive balance between observation perceptive mood and design keeps me engaged and challenged. Often it is the paintings which I have battled the hardest destroyed and resurrected that become the most interesting. \ BIOGRAPHY\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\ EDUCATION:\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\ BLA Bachelor Of Landscape Architecture Syracuse University SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry School Of Landscape Architecture.\ \ SELECTED EXHIBITIONS\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\\t\ 2022\\t\\tEaston Plein Air / Maryland / Juried Artist \ 2022\\t\\tNational Iron & Steel Heritage Museum: Lukens Steel Painting on exhibit\ 2022\\t\\tWest Reading Plein Air / Pa. / Juried Artist: \ First Place Best In Show Painting\ First Place Best Quick Draw\ First Place Best In Show Artist Body Of Work \ 2022\\t\\tAnnapolis Plein Air / Maryland / Juried Artist: \ First Place Quick Draw Painting\ 2022\\t\\tWayne Plein Air / Pa./ Juried Artist: \ Award of Merit\ 2021\\t\\tHudson Valley Plein Air / New York / Juried Artist: \ First Place-Best State Park Painting\ 2021\\t\\tTupper Lake Plein Air / N.Y. / Juried Artist\ 2020\\t\\tAnnapolis Plein Air / Mayor’s Award Community Artist: (First Place Best in Show)\ 2019\\t\\tWayne Community Plein Air Show / Wayne PA (Third Place in Community Show)\
